Magasin Cuatro is a professional blogger template from Falcon Hive. It was originally a Wordpress theme designed by Padd IT Solutions and converted to blogger template by falconhive. This blogger template is not just special because it is a Wordpress adapted blogger template but also of many features it has inherited to prove itself unique. We shall be discussing about the unique features this template has to offer in this Review section.
Design and Layout:
This template has a magazine style layout. It has three distinct columns. Blogger post sections are often large but this template has a very narrow width for posts section comparatively which makes it more a magazine style blogger template.
Ads Section:
This template has four Ads section
Top (728 X 15) Ads Space:
Top Side (468 x 80) Ads Space:
Side bar (125x 125) ads Section:
160x600 Ads gadget:
These are really good spots for displaying Adsense or any other sponsored Ads.
Featured Section:
This template also has one featured content section for displaying your featured article or any promotional products.
Compatible Browsers:
This is compatible with all browsers and best viewed in IE 8, Firefox RC3, Opera 9.6, Google Chrome 0.3.154.9, Safari 4 Public Beta browsers.
Menu and Buttons:
This has a navigation menu at the top of the featured post column and a search bar adjoined with the bar at end. This adds to the professionalism of the template.
Other Sections:
Twitter Updates Widget
This template also has a twitter Updates widget in the middle column which will automatically display your latest tweets for your blog readers.
Subscription Section Widget
This template is equipped with a Subscribe section box which will be really important in increasing your blog readers. Displaying such a subscription section with “subscribe by e-mail” button enriches the template and at the same time makes it easy for readers to subscribe to your blog.
Random Flickr Photos widget
This template also has a unique gadget that shows random photos from your flickr photos. If you have flickr album, you can just use your username to get the random pictures displayed from your gallery to this blog.
Some things you may not like:
• You cannot display the title as you wish by simply changing the blogger setting for the blog title.
• The featured section for this template is really too big and this may not be attractive for some bloggers.
However, you can change these according to your choice if you are experienced with editing blogger templates.
